The ritual dance "monkey dance" played by the tribal children during Makar Shankranti in Mayurbhanj, Orissa, India. Makar Shankranti is treated as new year even for the tribals in Orissa.

I have been in social action since 27 years and taking the Gandhia ideology to reach the unreached through socio economic interventions.
Mahatma Gandhi Eye Hospital a 35 beded eye hospital was founded in 2000 and it was inaugurated by the former vice president of India Krishnakant and Naveen Patnaik the chief minister of Orissa .About 1,00,000 people around the region withnessed the inauguration which gave me a lots of inspiration and since then in a span of nine years we have reached 2,50,000 eye patients for treatment in our beautiful OPD and 45,000 blind people who were blind for cataract has retained best sight through surgery in our OT .Its a milestone of our work of a team of 50 from medico back ground. The eye hospital is located in a small tribal village "Ranagamatia" in Mayurbhnaj district located near the asia s oldest british airport .The eye service is just a respect to Gandhi " Village Swaraj or Village Republic a dream of Mahatma to make the villages of India self reliance in all aspects .It is just an experiment of Gandhi.
Secondly I have worked for the tribals /Adivasis who are nomadic living in forest and love to live with nature.I work as I love them with a feeling they are the children of the soil .Since 27 years a restless social intervention has capacitated them towards a better life.
I srongly belive , non violence way is the solution of any discrimination.
